Noozhawk: Flagstone Pantry Opens in Santa Barbara Public Market
In 2012, Flagstone Pantry Inc. was launched on a hunch that the opportunity to bake goods for a local coffee house could turn into much more. Did it ever! Flagstone Pantry has opened a full kitchen and retail outlet at the Santa Barbara Public Market, offering freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner items.
Summer Tarts!
It’s that time! Stone fruit and berry season are upon us. Oh boy. Nothing says summer like a fresh fruit tart. I like to make mini tarts in small pans with removable bottoms. Sometimes I sprinkle granola on the bottom crust, under the fruit. It soaks up all of the good fruit juices while adding texture. Here is a simple recipe for making summer tarts with any fruit you choose. Enjoy!
